Greece is a beautiful travel destination with a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Whether you are interested in exploring ancient ruins, relaxing on the beach, or indulging in delicious cuisine, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this beautiful country. Some of the most popular destinations in Greece include Athens, the capital city, known for its ancient landmarks such as the Acropolis and the Parthenon. Other popular destinations include the islands of Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Rhodes, and Corfu. These islands are known for their beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and picturesque villages. My favourite island is Milos as it has beautiful beaches, yet is a fraction of the price of the bigger more popular Greek Islands.
If you are planning a trip to Greece. In that case, it is essential to consider the best time to visit, as the country experiences hot summers and mild winters. The peak tourist season is during the summer months, from June to August, when temperatures can reach up to 40°C. However, suppose you prefer milder weather and fewer crowds. In that case, visiting during the shoulder seasons may be best, from April to May and September to October.
